I don't why but I suddenly feel like updating my blog now. I would like to say in advance, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to all my Chinese friends and HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY to all the couples that I know. It's rare to see that Chinese New Year falls on the same day with Valentine's Day, so it's unique for this year, 2010! Fyi, for Chinese, it's a tiger year! Everyone is very busy at home now but I am sitting in my room updating my blog. haha I was late to eco class just now because I was doing some "Maths" in the hall with my other chingu(s). The results for last year seem to be improved but the total number of people getting C and above are just...haiz~ For Biz, out of 120 students, only 31 students got C and above. Accounting, out of 90+ students, only 17, and for Eco, around 60 students, only 5 of them who achieved C and above. For GP, it's 90+ students. It's really really tough, I kinda feel very scared after knowing the figures, I am not sure whether we made a mistake on the counting or not because we counted one by one~ But all of us have to work hard in order to proceed to the next level, which is uni! Wow, time passed so FAST~ I felt sorry for my chingu(s) as some of them were asking whether there is open house and I shook my head by saying no. Because I am afraid that my parents gonna be like...so I only invited certain people, who are my good friends to my house. SORRY! MIANHAE~ Alright, I will stop here for this post. I updated my blog once in a blue moon again! haha Results were being released yesterday and I got mine too! But I was unsatisfied with my biz, I got only a C. I will work harder for it! On the other hand, I am kinda happy with my Eco because I thought I might fail. But I got a C too! So overall it was okay, hopefully I can do better for this June AS! hehe Anyway, Congratulations for those who achieved good results and for those who didn't do well, don't be too sad! Work harder!! Jia you!! Hwaiting!!! Yesterday I went to my friend's Birthday party, they were playing crazily! haha They enjoyed so much because there was a Water Bouncer? I didn't play because I am not really interested. But as usual, we took lots of pics! Some of them are really really nice! I am lazy to upload it here so check out on my fb if you are interested~ My friend asked me, "Sie Ying, are you sure you don't want to play?" I answered no but she just hugged me because she was all wet...and then, part of my clothes was wet as well! haha And then when they slide down from the top, few of us didn't realize...so we were being splashed by the water...we shouted at the same time, "Aahhhhhhhhhhh!!" WET again! haha That friend of mine was carrying a pail with some water inside and trying to throw it to one my friends. But then that guy was running behind of me, which made me run as well. I keep on shouting, "Hey, don't stand at the back of me! I don't want to be the victim!" Lol anyway, we really enjoyed a lot although some of us were being sucked by vampires (mosquitoes I mean). I will try to update my blog soon again! Because I am very busy nowadays, helping around in school to prepare for Pre-U1, gonna do research for my BGIC thingy and Chinese New Year is coming soon! Okay...blogging is not part of my daily routine but I realized it's been really really long time that I didn't update my blog. It's not that my life is really that bored, it's just that I don't know why...when I feel like updating my blog...there must be something going on...and after that I will be lazy to update...haha I don't know from where should I start to recall...maybe after all my exams, on the 12/11, oh my...now then I remembered how busy I was...I mean all the mpps and prefects...all the activities that we had to handle...HSBC talk, Cleaning campaign, Talent Show, Parents' Day, Teachers' Day, Students' Award & SMSA Fiesta and SMSA Idol. Just by looking at these, I feel dizzy... haha I remember there was a week that I had to go to school for six days, including friday, to practise choir. And the next week, almost every afternoon I stayed at school to help around and practice. The song that they have chosen to sing was our SMSA school song. haha Lame? But actually not really because majority said it was nice...we performed for two days. I was one of the superanos (not sure with the spelling) haha Oh yeah, and before that, mun did ask me whether I wanna join smsa idol with her? So I decided to practise first and see how... So she came to my house with feeqa to practise singing after the crazy talent show...haha They didn't have much time to change...so they just wore our SMSA PE t-shirts (they really love SMSA haha) There's a pic here...but in the end, I decided not to join and luckily that's my decision because then I realized that smsa idol is for solo singer...  Talking about the SMSA idol, I was very angry that time because the results was UNFAIR!!! They were being BIAS!!! Fine! I don't want to mention about that again...I took mun's pretty pic and... hehe   Oh yeah, before SMSA Idol, I went to Swiss Hotel and Tat Place Hotel & Cafe for an educational trip after the parents' day...it was really fun and worth! I paid only $15 and got the chance to look around the hotel (kitchen, rooms, reception, repair and maintenance room) and learned a lot which are related to my business studies...All of us had a nice meal (refreshments, lamb chop, mango fish, deserts)! And as a KBian, I never know that Kuala Belait has such a nice view looking from the top...Bruneians will be surprise to look at these pics~    On the 3rd of December, I went to bandar with my bro as the driver, liza and my cousin. hehe I really enjoyed that day! I felt sorry for Kavitha because she can't join us...and I tried to contatct mun the night before but I didn't manage to contact her :( Anyway, I guess she was also busy preparing for the singing competition. hehe Mun, HWAITING!!! How was it actually? I didn't get a chance to ask her... And on the way to bandar, we were stucked for I don't know how long...more than 30 minutes perhaps...just for the stupid spot check by the police...then the first thing that we did when we arrived in The Mall was to book the tickets. Because the aim to go bandar was to watch New Moon! Most of the seats were fully booked...and left with like one seat in this row and another one in that row. So it was my first time to watch it alone although my bro went into the same cinema as I did because we were forced to sit separately. There was a malay guy sitting besides me and he coughed a lot...luckily I was healthy enough that time haha Liza and my cousin went to watch ninja assasin and there sat separately too! Haiz... They came out first and were playing in the Arcade. I joined them after that while my bro went to do his stuff...we were playing so high! And we even played the kids' basketball game? The three balls stucked inside at the same time! haha After that, we went to sing in the K-box. Although not much songs inside there that I know but Liza and I managed to sing more than 10 songs...haha we were so high! Shouting as if we were in a concert!   At last for the dinner, I went to the pasar malam in Gadong for the very first time. I know as a Bruneian, it was kinda funny! And I even tried 'tongkeng' for the first time again! haha I gave a name to the smoke (look at the pic below), 'Brunei Perfume', but the smell was *coughing*...haha Okay, I guess that's the end of my blogging...I wrote quite a lot this time and I don't know when will be the next time for me to update again. hehe Because there are lots of holidays homework waiting for me to do~ I haven't really start to do and 2010 is coming soon...T.T  Friday, September 25, 2009
It's been a long time again I didn't update my blog although it's my school holidays now. Because I just came back from UK few days ago. And I felt so tired. I only feel like updating it now as few more days later, which is on monday, school is gonna reopen again. haiz... On the 9th of September I was sitting on the aeroplane...and it's my first time to feel the pain of flying for so long time...hehe first time sitting for about 13 hours on the plane excluding 2 hours flight from Singapore. It's really tiring and I can't sleep on the plane...Because the kids sitting behind me were kicking my seat...damn! But I was watching movies and learning new languages? hehe And the plane was cool cuz I can charge my ipod~ When I arrived in London Heathrow, it's 6 something early in the morning. And there you go...waiting again for other students because I was following the school bus to Cardiff. It's 17 degree outside the airport...and I felt cold with the thin jacket. hehe Most of them thought I am one of the students cuz I look mature...haha but I am not~ Alright, skipped something, if I keep on typing, it will be like essays...Okay, this is one of the pics taken with my cousin in the airport while waiting...Oh man, I miss her~ Suddenly feel so lonely in Brunei...T.T Oh yeah, I have met some new friends in Wales too! I am gonna miss them as well...  When I was there, every morning I ate croissant, cereals and sandwiches. Lunch time...mostly fast food. and I really really miss Brunei food! My Chinese food! hehe But after about 6 days later, my cousin got to know a Chinese Restaurant from her senior, and at last! I can eat chinese food again! But I only managed to take a picture of the soup, my aunt even said...at last, we can eat something which is what human beings eat...haha Actually in between, we did eat thai food but it's kinda expensive and boring as we ate for several times already....but there is something that I think I should type it out here, because in the menu of that thai restaurant, they wrote something like this...people travel from miles just to try this...and it's actually the duck! Nice though...but the way they wrote was a bit exaggerating...hehe    These pics were taken in Queen Street. Look at these buildings~ very antique right? It's just like what my cousin said, we just came out from a story book. hehe The HSBC there is very different and unique too! There is also a pic where the guy stood on the string (tied on both trees) with one leg and played violin. T.T  Actually I did go to London for about half day only? hehe Because we spent almost the whole morning travelling there and eating. We went into KFC for breakfast and I heard two guys speaking Bahasa Brunei so I suspected them to be Bruneian. And after asking them, yes they are Bruneians~ Because we were so lost in London, have no idea where to go and what to do. So you will not be able to feel how happy I was to meet Bruneians! haha and another reason was I have never met a Bruneian in Cardiff. They were being so nice to tell us which bus to sit and which streets that we can go. Fyi, they are actually scholarship students and I forgot everything until my aunt said..."Isn't it puasa time? How come they are eating?" Ta da~ haha But I do understand because the weather is so cold. Cannot tahan bah~ and I was so regret because I wore a very thin jacket and didn't know that the temperature would be that cold, it was 8 degree that time and I became sick the next day...hehe Anyway, I enjoyed a lot~ We sat on the bus (sight seeing bus) and took some pictures...but I was shivering a lot...       Then we sat on the London eye! It was so cool because I took a lot of pics from above...how come in London most of the pics that I have taken were from above~ haha I don't know as well... I guess I broke the record for not updating the blog for so long time. I am so busy all these time and I feel like I have no time to update my blog. I finished my progress tests last week and I got my results for Accounting and Economics. I am kinda disappointed to myself because even the weaker one beat me in these two subjects...I am hoping that my Business will be okay. I really need to work hard for the end of year exams and AS is coming soon~ I need to improve my grades! I felt kinda stress even after the exams because of my bro. Anyway, I won't mention anything here. I hope that after all these, everything will be okay in the future. I am really looking forward to the September holidays as I am going to somewhere~ Some of my chingu knew about this already. hehe So I hope that I will enjoy this coming trip~ Monday, June 15, 2009
We had a reunion with the old (Sc. 2 students) and new (bf/gf) Mannequins yesterday. It was supposed to be in Anduki but there was no place for us so we decided to change the location to Amal's house. Luckily her parents were not angry. Amal, komawo~ Unfortunately some of them were not there...haiz~ hopefully everyone will come for the next reunion. Flashback: I wasn't feeling that well in the morning and was deciding to go or not. After thinking for a while, I decided to go for the sake of Rose. Actually my dad was telling me not to go because it was raining heavily in kb. He did say if there is heavy rain in Anduki, he will bring me home immediately. So I mes rose on the way. She said 5 of them arrived there already but there was no place. Then when I arrived there, feeqa told me to stop my dad from leaving because they decided to change the location. My dad brought Liza, Mizi, Feeqa (I realized they were all half Chinese) and I in the car and followed Amal's driver's car to Amal's house. In Amal's house: Rose~ I miss you a lot! hehe and komawo for your present although it's a belated one. We were sitting together with su ling as the loner group and others were sitting together as the couple group. And thanks a lot to Faiz and Liza, because without them, there might not be fire...hehe and we can't bbq those food. I did ask Amal for panadols and luckily her mum gave me two. After eating the panadols I felt better and took a lot of pictures with Rose, Feeqa and Mizi.
