It's been a long time again I didn't update my blog although it's my school holidays now. Because I just came back from UK few days ago. And I felt so tired. I only feel like updating it now as few more days later, which is on monday, school is gonna reopen again. haiz... On the 9th of September I was sitting on the aeroplane...and it's my first time to feel the pain of flying for so long time...hehe first time sitting for about 13 hours on the plane excluding 2 hours flight from Singapore. It's really tiring and I can't sleep on the plane...Because the kids sitting behind me were kicking my seat...damn! But I was watching movies and learning new languages? hehe And the plane was cool cuz I can charge my ipod~ When I arrived in London Heathrow, it's 6 something early in the morning. And there you go...waiting again for other students because I was following the school bus to Cardiff. It's 17 degree outside the airport...and I felt cold with the thin jacket. hehe Most of them thought I am one of the students cuz I look mature...haha but I am not~ Alright, skipped something, if I keep on typing, it will be like essays...Okay, this is one of the pics taken with my cousin in the airport while waiting...Oh man, I miss her~ Suddenly feel so lonely in Brunei...T.T Oh yeah, I have met some new friends in Wales too! I am gonna miss them as well...  When I was there, every morning I ate croissant, cereals and sandwiches. Lunch time...mostly fast food. and I really really miss Brunei food! My Chinese food! hehe But after about 6 days later, my cousin got to know a Chinese Restaurant from her senior, and at last! I can eat chinese food again! But I only managed to take a picture of the soup, my aunt even said...at last, we can eat something which is what human beings eat...haha Actually in between, we did eat thai food but it's kinda expensive and boring as we ate for several times already....but there is something that I think I should type it out here, because in the menu of that thai restaurant, they wrote something like this...people travel from miles just to try this...and it's actually the duck! Nice though...but the way they wrote was a bit exaggerating...hehe    These pics were taken in Queen Street. Look at these buildings~ very antique right? It's just like what my cousin said, we just came out from a story book. hehe The HSBC there is very different and unique too! There is also a pic where the guy stood on the string (tied on both trees) with one leg and played violin. And I realized one thing, most of the shops that I went in sell accessories, its really pretty but not my cup of tea...hehe        Other pics taken in Cardiff;     Some of the pics of pretty mannequins;     John Lewis is still new and I haven't got the chance to go in because it will only be opened when I am back. T.T  Actually I did go to London for about half day only? hehe Because we spent almost the whole morning travelling there and eating. We went into KFC for breakfast and I heard two guys speaking Bahasa Brunei so I suspected them to be Bruneian. And after asking them, yes they are Bruneians~ Because we were so lost in London, have no idea where to go and what to do. So you will not be able to feel how happy I was to meet Bruneians! haha and another reason was I have never met a Bruneian in Cardiff. They were being so nice to tell us which bus to sit and which streets that we can go. Fyi, they are actually scholarship students and I forgot everything until my aunt said..."Isn't it puasa time? How come they are eating?" Ta da~ haha But I do understand because the weather is so cold. Cannot tahan bah~ and I was so regret because I wore a very thin jacket and didn't know that the temperature would be that cold, it was 8 degree that time and I became sick the next day...hehe Anyway, I enjoyed a lot~ We sat on the bus (sight seeing bus) and took some pictures...but I was shivering a lot...       Then we sat on the London eye! It was so cool because I took a lot of pics from above...how come in London most of the pics that I have taken were from above~ haha I don't know as well... I guess I broke the record for not updating the blog for so long time. I am so busy all these time and I feel like I have no time to update my blog. I finished my progress tests last week and I got my results for Accounting and Economics. I am kinda disappointed to myself because even the weaker one beat me in these two subjects...I am hoping that my Business will be okay. I really need to work hard for the end of year exams and AS is coming soon~ I need to improve my grades! I felt kinda stress even after the exams because of my bro. Anyway, I won't mention anything here. I hope that after all these, everything will be okay in the future. I am really looking forward to the September holidays as I am going to somewhere~ Some of my chingu knew about this already. hehe So I hope that I will enjoy this coming trip~ Monday, June 15, 2009
We had a reunion with the old (Sc. 2 students) and new (bf/gf) Mannequins yesterday. It was supposed to be in Anduki but there was no place for us so we decided to change the location to Amal's house. Luckily her parents were not angry. Amal, komawo~ Unfortunately some of them were not there...haiz~ hopefully everyone will come for the next reunion. Flashback: I wasn't feeling that well in the morning and was deciding to go or not. After thinking for a while, I decided to go for the sake of Rose. Actually my dad was telling me not to go because it was raining heavily in kb. He did say if there is heavy rain in Anduki, he will bring me home immediately. So I mes rose on the way. She said 5 of them arrived there already but there was no place. Then when I arrived there, feeqa told me to stop my dad from leaving because they decided to change the location. My dad brought Liza, Mizi, Feeqa (I realized they were all half Chinese) and I in the car and followed Amal's driver's car to Amal's house. In Amal's house: Rose~ I miss you a lot! hehe and komawo for your present although it's a belated one. We were sitting together with su ling as the loner group and others were sitting together as the couple group. And thanks a lot to Faiz and Liza, because without them, there might not be fire...hehe and we can't bbq those food. I did ask Amal for panadols and luckily her mum gave me two. After eating the panadols I felt better and took a lot of pictures with Rose, Feeqa and Mizi. Farewell party was actually held on the same place last time. When I arrived there at 7pm, I saw two guys standing outside but I can't recognize them from far because I wasn't using my spec that time. I thought they were uncles that I don't know and was kinda scared to stand outside and wait for the others. When I walked near to them, then I realized they were actually Yb and Ah Tan. hehe We were having so much fun and laughed a lot, but an unexpected guest came to join us for a while. The unexpected guest was Lorin. I am not sure whether I am supposed to mention this on my blog or not but I feel sorry for her. hehe Because we were actually hiding something from her. And suprisingly everyone was playing their own role very well. She really thought that yb is going back the next day. And yb was so not gentleman, he rejected all her requests. Anyway, we took a lot of pictures and most of our expressions (especially yb) in the pics were so funny. I will upload some of the pics here to share the happy moments. Just finished chatting with one of my friends not long ago and suddenly feel like blogging. "Don't play play in FORM SIX", that's the title that I have thought of for this post. We just finished our Mid-Year Exams few days ago and most of us got back our papers already. I realized that it's normal to hear something like this these two days; "My class only 5 people passed." "My class only 3 people passed." "Some students even got single digit for their exams." "Did you pass? I failed all four subjects, I don't know how to tell my parents." "I got 53 marks and you know what? I am the highest in the class. haha" BANG! Failing rate is so high~ and we just started to study on March, which means not many of the topics had been covered, I really hope that we can survive~ but of course not all the students got such poor results, there were some of them passed everything and achieved very high marks. I am kinda happy because I passed three subjects but not sure about my GP. Because sir said we will get back our papers only after the holidays. He said many people wrote out of topic. Haiz~ Anyway, our holidays will start officially on this Sunday but I don't think many people are going to school on Saturday (maybe including me) hehe. I have many holidays' homework to do~ T.T But THINK POSITIVELY (like what my business teacher told me). So Yay~ I have homework to do! Yesterday was my 17th birthday. I am so happy because many people greeted me. I wanna say thank you too all of you especially to Feeqa and Amal, because they even greeted me on their blogs. I celebrated my birthday earlier because my brother will not be in KB on my actual birthday. Early in the morning at 6.00am I saw a container on my table and was wondering what was that. When I opened it, I was so surprised to see the sushi (in the pic) arranged nicely in it. According to my mum, those sushi were made by my bro during midnight. I felt so touched actually. Thank you gor~ Then in the afternoon, after attending the MPPs & Prefects' meeting, I went home around 4+ tiredly. My bro told me to open the refrigerator and I saw the plate of "cake" (in the pic). Although its something like kuih lapis, I felt so happy because he made it for me for the very first time. I did see him bringing along many recipes' books from the library. I think he learned it from one of the books. It's a kind of kuih from Sarawak if I am not mistaken. Once again, thank you gor although I think he won't read my blog. hehe And I want to say 고마워 to my dear cousin, Faith and her mum for buying me two presents. The present with a pretty ribbon on the box and "The Secret Code" Album were given by them. Actually I got Jae Joong's post card but my cousin changed it with me because she got Changmin's one. Fyi, my favourite member is Changmin so I just changed it with her. And the "stand" with many earrings on it was actually the present in the box. Arigatou to Deborah, because she gave me a unique present. I like the key chain with 忍耐 on it. It's very meaningful. (Look at the pic below)
During the night time, I went to Bucanneer with my brother and cousins. That was also my first time to celebrate outside and without any adults. The sad thing was there was no escargot (there is a pic of that on my previous posts). So we ordered quite a lot of other food to replace that. hehe
After eating, I took some pictures with my brother and cousins. But I only uploaded two here. The second pic was taken with my dear cousin, Faith.   On my actual birthday which was yesterday, I only ate a birthday cake with my family members. I purposely combined the before and after in the pic below because I found it very funny. The reason was the kids (my sisters and cousin) took all the chocolates on the cake within 5 seconds after I blew the candles. And I also quickly ate all the cherries after that. So it became like that. haha  I did eat chicken chop in the afternoon and went to excapade to take away some of my favourite food; salmon, gyoza and sushi in the night time. My grandpa said the ginger was nice and he even ate the wasabi. Amazing to me because I don't eat wasabi. And one thing made me very happy was The Secret Code's poster. Because my birthday is on the 20th of May, so basically I always say 520 (Wo Ai Ni in Chinese) and I found the three numbers on the poster. 창민오빠, 감사 합니다! 사랑해~ 동방신기, Tohoshinki 화이팅! It's been a long time already I didn't update my blog. Because I am always busy with my school works, projects and so on...Fyi, I have homework everyday and it's like a daily routine for my Accounting. I met Rose on the 11th of April. I was actually planning to update my blog that day but I don't know why I didn't do that hehe Rose, 보고싶었어~ I miss the old days when we were in PJN. You always have that pose (hand on your waist)...hehe  I only knew that she was in KB town when she mc me...she should have tell me earlier, what if I am not in KB town? T.T But maybe it's fate, hehe I was actually hanging out with my cousins that time. And she was eating with Su Ling in KFC... But I just ate KFC the previous day so I don't feel like eating there again. So I left her and went to Procter with my cousins. She and Su Ling went to search for us after finish eating in KFC. We managed to take a few pics at last but not enough time and I was having stomach pain...Yishh... Anyway, this is one of the pics...she still looks the same...as cute as always hehe but she looks prettier in reality. I hope that we can hang out some day with my old 친구...Btw, Younha's songs always let me think of Rose because she is her fan...And nowadays, I like Younha's Luv U Luv U Luv U...dedicated to 장미 hehe When are you going to online anyway? T.T
Form Six Life is tough...just finished a presentation on mon and the next day teacher assigned us with another group work, report...I think I will stop here for today because I need to continue my homework again~ 안녕~ |
